| The visit to Pompei was a "must" for both Anne and I, especially as our daughter is an archaeologist and has an interest in things Roman - both in Rome and England - as well as Egyptian. It proved to be a fascinating and somewhat tiring place to visit, however the guide that we had talked too much and we were not able to see many of the best parts. I think another visit will be called for at some time or other. | ||
